在国庆长假这样人潮汹涌、一票难求的时候回家，实在不是一件令人愉快的事。因此即使暑假没有回家，我依然十分犹豫。况且之前信誓旦旦许诺的不用一个人回家的愿望终于还是落了空，于是我开始发短信试探我老娘，将回家的前景描绘的无比艰苦。奈何伊总归不解风情，总是“辛苦了，辛苦了”的安慰，却咬紧牙关不肯说一句：太累了就别回来了。

硬座十八个小时，其实我发现自己也没有想象中那么虚弱，怎么说想当年硬站十八个小时也是挺过来了的。虽然现在年级大了点，不过还是正值壮年不是？

还没到家，晚上饭局已经开始冲突了，老娘说晚上家宴给俺爸和中华人民共和国一起庆祝生日，哥们说他结婚我回来完了 要罚酒。我就琢磨着要不家宴随便吃两口再出去花天酒地？

到家进了门，老爸晃悠晃悠的出来，我一看就笑了。“你怎么夏天快过了赶着剃了个准光头啊？”“凉快呗，而且洗起来方便。”我就没心没肺的使劲笑，然后没心没肺的打击他的头不够圆。然后就洗澡，翻出能吃的东西大吃了一顿。

吃饱了像土拨鼠一样躺在沙发上，开始讨论晚上吃饭的事。我说爸我晚上不给你庆祝生日你会不会像我妹一样闹情绪？老妈说不好吧，一大家子人就等你回来呢。我说啥呀，自家人哪天吃不都一样哦，呵呵，实在不行我先露个脸吃两口再走？老妈说你这孩子咋不懂事呢？我说咋不懂事了，同学结婚请客不去也不好啊。老妈急了说不行，你跟你同学打电话说明天再去！

我被噎着了，恬着脸说：妈，你急啥啊，不去就不去呗。然后就冷场了。

三个人坐着看电视，没吭声。过了一会儿，老娘突然说，你没觉得你爸头上有啥不一样的地方。

我转过去看了看，没有啊，不就头发短了点？不对，好像有道疤，还挺长的。是有道疤，怎么搞得？

我爸笑笑说，刚做了个小手术。

什么时候？

9号做的，27号出院的，现在已经没事了。

怎么没跟我说？

和你说有啥用啊，那么远，除了担心有啥别的用处？

我眼泪一下子就出来了。脑袋上开了这么大个口子难道还能跟阑尾炎一样是小手术？可是确实也是，告诉我有什么用？等我赶回来，黄花菜也凉了。

我坐在沙发上发呆，不知道说什么好。还好手术很顺利，看起来恢复的也很好。但是这一点也不能减轻我心里的内疚。中国自古有“父母在，不远游”的说法，现在我总算是体会到了。养了个儿子，需要的时候却不在身边。我们的父母，看着当年的雏鹰展翅的时候，即使有骄傲，同时也会不时生出无人反哺的无奈和悲凉吧。他们挣扎着不想被岁月带走青春，也无视越来越多的白发，一方面是不愿意承认自己老了，另一方面，大概也就是不想让那些在他们眼中仍然稚嫩的肩膀，承担太多的责任吧。

也许我们每个人，都会有不得不依靠别人的一天吧。总会有那么一天，我们发现，曾经给我们遮风挡雨的大树，也到了需要我们反过来呵护的时候。我只是恨自己成长的太慢，还无法让父母放心依靠……

突然想到叶芝的这首诗，虽然是为爱情而叹的，也不妨我在这里引用一下。只想祝福天下的父母健康多福！

只有一个人爱你那朝圣者的灵魂，

在头顶的山上它缓缓踱着步子，

Isolated islands in the ocean are just like some lonely and mystery girls, who can always wake up the tender love deep in our hearts. That is the feeling people often say that the pearl of Pacific——Hawaii will give. And that exactly the feeling which P.E.I. has given to me.

Prince Edward Island (P.E.I),  which is named after one of her most famous former governor Prince Edward, lays quietly between Gulf of St. Lawrence and Atlantic Ocean. It looks like a cradle as well as a delicious lobster.

It is "A TIMELESS REALM of sandy beaches, emerald pastures and weathered villages"—— this is the island popularized by Lucy Maud Montgomery in her novel "Anne of Green Gables".

The "Anne of Green Gables" is an unavoidable attraction of P.E.I., because the cognominal series of novels have been so popular all over the western world. I have never read novel, even have never heard of that. But I can easily understand aged people who comes from thousands miles away to the site of Green Gables, just to see a small road named as "Lover's Lane" in the book. That is some kind of love knot deeply rooted in their hearts since childhood. It is the same reason why Transformers gain excellent box office in China. And it is the same reason why tear rained my cheeks when I stood in the broken gardens of former residence of Lu Xun, which is named "garden with hundred of grasses" . It is not the site that moves us. It is people and stories behind that.

For the first time in my life, I swam in the ocean. Although I am not good at swimming at all, the cold, bitter, and salt sea water gives totally different experiences to me.

Sometimes, we call some trips as "Dream Trips". If you want me to say one best trip I have ever experienced. I will choose this one——The trip to the maritime provinces in Eastern Canada. You can sneer at me because I seem easy to satisfy, but I really enjoy it.

 

The trip started on a rainy Saturday morning when I got up at 3 am in the morning and walked half an hour to a twenty-four-hour McDonald to met the bus which was sent to pick me (of course not only me) up. It rained all the way when I forwarded to Montreal.

 

Then there began the travel. The weather on the first day is not good. But fortunately we spent more than ten hours on the bus that day. The only program for the first day is Whale watching in the deep of  St. Laurence river. And maybe because of the bad weather, whales all hided somewhere and we had seen none during the 3.5 hrs search. It was lucky that several little white buddies shown up at the last twenty minutes of the cruise. It comforted my frozen heart which had insisted waiting in the cold ocean wind for such a long time.

 

The sun rose the next day and the trip continued. As you have seen in the title of the tour, it is " Tour of Maritime Provinces " and "Two Lobster Tour". Then it is easy understand that the tour is mainly about the ocean scenes, such as sea water, rocks, beaches, sea creatures, and sea foods. During the tour, our bus wandered across the province of Quebec, New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, and Prince Edward Island, most along the touring highway, which means one can always see rivers, oceans, and of course trees all the way. Most of the time on the bus, I will do nothing but look outside the windows. And there are really some times when I feel like travel in the pictures.

 

On the other hand, it was called  "Two Lobster Tour" due to the following two reasons: firstly, we have two lobster meals; secondly, the shapes of Princess Edwards Island (P.E.I) and Nova Scotia are quite like lobsters.

 

During the tour, we have totally visit three hometowns——The hometown of Salmon (Campbellton), the hometown of Lobster (Schediac), and the hometown of Confederation of Canada (Charlottetown); three beaches——yellow and green Irving Eco Center, red muddy Hopewell Rocks and Cavendish where I had a swimming in Atlantic …..

 

I should thank Canada for showing her best aspect to me. It is said that in the winter, snows will cover roads, forests, rivers, hills and houses.  Beautiful things will hide except the white snows. Then the provinces of maritime will take a long winter sleep.

 

Some time when I was on the bus, a dream suddenly come into my mind. I have a dream, that one day I will have two children, one boy and one girl. I have a dream, that one day one of my children will go to Canada while the other to Australia. I have a dream, that when I retire, I will live in Canada in summer with one of my children and grand children and in Australia in winter with the other ones. I have a dream, …, then I really have a dream.
